The Global Good Awards is rewarding businesses, NGOs, charities and social enterprises

From: 01.12.2017 To: 02.02.2018 Share

The Global Good Awards is rewarding businesses, NGOs, charities and social enterprises of all shapes and sizes for ‘doing good’ globally.

Formerly the National CSR Awards, these awards aren’t just about recognising big business for responsible and sustainable practices. The Global Good Awards are about rewarding change in all organisations, big or small; building platforms to learn, share and progress ideas; and encouraging the development of ethical business practices.

“We are driven to shout about those who are making strides towards a better world for people, the planet and the global economy.” said Karen Sutton, Founder and CEO of the Global Good Awards UK.

But it’s not just the ethos of the Global Good Awards that makes them stand out from the crowd:

Simple entry process, feedback guaranteed: a wide range of categories, with simple, straightforward entry processes that enables all entries to receive feedback, totally free of charge. Entry is powered by the online platform Awardstage.

● Experienced judges: panel judges have strong and varied experience in sustainable development, plus specific expertise that is matched to relevant award categories, ensuring all entries receive a thorough and expert evaluation.

● Walking the talk: these awards practice what they preach. Marketing materials for the 2017 event were environmentally-friendly, using Revive100, a 100% recycled and carbon balanced paper and using Seacourt’s eco-friendly printing technology. The 2018 Awards’ event will be carbon balanced through the World Land Trust, the beautiful glass awards will all be made from re-used Belu water bottles and off-cuts of glass, and there will also be a Charity of the Year, donating £10 from every entry to charity.

Entries open on the 1st December 2017 and close 9th February 2018. You can find out more here.
