Among the scientific personalities from the International Society of Rehabilitation Medicine, there was a very fertile interaction of Dr Pyrgeli  with Prof. Anthony B. Ward (Director of North Staffordshire Rehabilitation Center - Haywood Hospital, Professor of Rehabilitation Medicine at Staffordshire University UK), who gave a lecture about the "COST-EFFECTIVENESS OF SPECIALIST REHABILITATION", with Prof. Jordan Green (MGH Institute of Health Professions, Harvard Medical School, Boston, USA), who presented "NEUROLOGICAL SPEECH DISORDERS: TECHNOLOGICAL ADVANCES IN DIAGNOSIS AND ASSESSMENT", Prof. Ross Zafonte (Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Harvard Medical School, Boston USA) who talked about "TBI CLINICAL TRIALS: WHAT WE HAVE LEARNED?", Prof. Liugi Tesio (Department of Biomedical Sciences University of Milan, Department of Neurorehabilitation Sciences, Institute Auxologico Italiano, IRCCS, Milano, Italy) and Professor Felipe Fregni (Harvard Medical School, Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital; Massachusetts General Hospital; Boston, USA), who presented about "NEUROMODULATION UPDATE IN CLINICAL USE".

Ath-10bDr Pyrgeli presented the correlation of GMFCS functional level of children and young people with CP, with the surgical treatment of musculoskeletal distortions, using the data of the registry from SCPE (Surveillance of Cerebral Palsy in Europe).  At the end of her presentation, she made a reference for the necessity of pre- and postoperative measurements from an organized Gait & Motion Analysis Center such as the one of ELEPAP.

Dr Pyrgeli also presented ELEPAP’s work, during the past 80 years, for children with disabilities and their families, and the Brain Injury Neuropsychological Rehabilitation Day Treatment Unit of ELEPAP, in the workshop of "Rehabilitation Services Network Session”.
