Innovation Forum: There’s modern day slavery in your supply chain: what next?

We’d like to invite you to an upcoming IF webinar: There’s modern day slavery in your supply chain: what next?
The reality is that most complex supply chains will have modern day slavery within their operations. It’s inevitable. So, while companies need to do all they can to prevent slavery and forced labour issues in their operations and supply chains in the first place, what should they do if or when modern slavery is uncovered?
The webinar will take place on 1st May at 3:00 PM BST. If you can’t make that time, register anyway and you’ll receive the recording via email.
You can register here.
In this webinar we will hear from Nestlé’s Jack Scott on how the company uncovered modern slavery within its supply chain. We will highlight the internal debate about what to do when modern slavery is found and discuss what companies should do next. We will provide both an NGO and legal perspective on how best to handle such a challenging issue.
Ian Welsh, publishing director of Innovation Forum, will be moderating the webinar and will be joined by:
Jack Scott, vice president – sustainability and responsible sourcing, Nestlé
Lydia Long, director of programs, Verité
Mark Taylor, director, strategy and global partnerships, Issara Institute
Michael Quayle, associate, Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer
I hope you will be able to listen in, there will be a live Q&A throughout, so you will have the opportunity to post questions directly to speakers.
