Global Sustain is founding member of Global Compact Network Hellas

The founding meeting of the members of Global Compact Network Hellas, as an independent legal entity, was successfully completed on January 21st.

Mr. Michael Spanos, Managing Director of Global Sustain quoted: “I am extremely happy that Global Sustain is once again present at a significant moment for Global Compact Network Hellas. Supporting the local network and the diffusion of the Global Compact principles are of utmost importance, to promote responsible entrepreneurship.”

Global Compact Network Hellas is the local network of the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC) in Greece. Among its objectives are the promotion of the principles of UNGC in the areas of human rights, labour relations, the environment and the fight against corruption, the practices of responsible entrepreneurship among Greek businesses, contribution to the further development of the UNGC initiative, influencing national policies on responsible entrepreneurship and motivating the businesses to achieve Sustainable Development Goals.
