RSM US LLP (RSM) — the nation’s leading provider of audit, tax and consulting services focused on the middle market — recently named National Tax Consulting Leader E.J. Nedder chair of the RSM US LLP Board of Directors for a one-year term, replacing Bob Jacobson, whose term expired Nov. 30, 2017. Additional new board members include Frank Le Bihan, international services office principal, and Joyce Reto, Atlanta office managing partner. Each of the new board members were elected to four-year terms. All board terms are effective Dec. 1, 2017.

“Our firm has benefitted from Bob’s strong leadership as RSM board chair this past year. The guidance that he and other board members provided to our leadership team helped our firm achieve excellent financial results and take our vision to be the global first-choice advisor to middle market leaders to a new level,” said Joe Adams, managing partner and CEO for RSM. “Our firm remains committed to our strategic vision and we welcome the leadership that E.J. will bring to his role as incoming chair and the diverse perspectives that Frank as a leader in our international services office and Joyce as a local market leader will also bring to the board as we continue to advance our global brand and strategy.”

As incoming board chair, Nedder intends to lead the board in the effective execution of its responsibilities and increase its focus on RSM’s technology and innovation strategies to ensure the firm achieves short-term business objectives and long-term strategic goals.

Technology and innovation go hand in hand, and we need to help our clients think differently if we aspire to be sought out as the first-choice advisor to middle market leaders here in the U.S. and globally,” said Nedder. “As board chair, I feel honored and privileged to be in this position, and I appreciate that my partners and fellow board members have entrusted me with this responsibility.”
