DRAKOPOULOS participated in the “Athens Innovation Summit 2025”, which was organized by Endeavor on 12 September 2025, in the ancient theatre Herodus Atticus. Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis met with Nobel laureate and Google DeepMind co-founder and CEO Demis Hassabis, as well as Endeavor co-founder and CEO Linda Rottenberg, for a substantive discussion on technology and ethics.
Together, they explored how the principles of human dignity, respect for democratic institutions and shared prosperity could guide the development of innovative technologies, particularly Artificial Intelligence (AI). They also discussed how countries can leverage innovation to accelerate inclusive growth while safeguarding the openness of their societies.

Over the past decade, Greece has transformed itself from an example of economic crisis to a success story and a nation of innovation. Targeted reforms, a radical digital transformation of public services and a more investment- and technology-friendly environment have made the country an attractive place to invest. Global technology giants are strengthening their presence in Greece, and a new generation of fast-growing company founders (scale-ups) is emerging.

Greece is positioning itself as a benchmark for innovation and technological progress with its dynamic ecosystem, attracting global interest in AI-driven investments and entrepreneurship.
