GLOBAL SUSTAIN – EBRD: ESG Accelerator Group Advisor Project: Empowering SMEs to Drive Sustainable Growth

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and Global Sustain S.A. are proud to announce the successful completion of the ESG Accelerator Group Advisor Project. This collaborative initiative provided comprehensive ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) consulting services to five prominent companies:

This project aimed to empower the beneficiaries to integrate sustainability into their core business strategies, drive innovation, and enhance their competitiveness. Each company underwent a thorough assessment and received tailored ESG consulting services to address their specific needs and challenges.

Key components of the project included:

•  – Benchmarking Analysis: Companies underwent a detailed benchmarking analysis to evaluate their ESG performance relative to industry peers and best practices.

• – Materiality Assessment: A comprehensive materiality assessment was conducted to identify the material ESG issues for each company, ensuring that their sustainability efforts are aligned with stakeholder expectations and business objectives.

• – Development of ESG Action Plans: Based on the findings of the benchmarking analysis and materiality assessment, customised ESG action plans were developed for each company. These action plans outline specific goals, initiatives, and timelines to drive continuous improvement in ESG performance.

• – Development of Sustainability Policies: Each company received support in developing robust sustainability policies to guide their long-term strategic direction and commitment to sustainability.

• – ESG Self-Assessment via Digital Tool: Participating companies were equipped with an innovative digital tool for self-assessment of their ESG performance. This tool provided a user-friendly interface for companies to track their progress, identify areas for improvement, and monitor their ESG journey over time.
