The Global Wind Organization (GWO) is an international organization created in 2009 by the leading companies in the Wind Energy sector, either activated as owners or manufacturers.
The common standard called Basic Safety Training (BST) came out as a result of the collaboration between GWO members.
BST was the answer to the need for ensuring a common and reliable basic training for wind energy sector employees, worldwide.
