UNHCR in Greece operating since March 1952. It cooperates with state authorities, NGOs and other agencies and organizations to ensure the protection of refugees, asylum seekers and all persons falling within the mandate of the High Commissioner.
UNHCR also seeks to inform and sensitize public opinion about the refugee issue in order to create a climate of tolerance and respect for the rights of refugees.
Manifest took cover demanding work of electrical installations and regular daily cleaning of three mobile units in the regions Elliniko, Scaramanga and Thessaloniki erected for refugees recording.
