Schneider Electric Named to Gartner’s Supply Chain Top 25 for Second Consecutive Year 

• The Group ranks at No. 17, up one place from last year 
• Digitization, building adaptive organizations and capabilities, and developing healthy ecosystems are 2017’s most common trends among supply chain leaders 

Schneider Electric, the global specialist in energy management and automation, today announced it ranks No. 17 in Gartner’s Supply Chain Top 25 for 2017, up one place from last year. Gartner’s rankings identify supply chain leaders and highlight their best practices for heads of supply chain and strategy organizations. Through 2016, Schneider Electric’s 11 billion euro supply chain operation was comprised of 209 manufacturing plants in 44 countries and 94 distribution centers. Its 85,000-person workforce managed 500,000 references and processed 130,000 order lines daily.

Gartner identified the top 25 performers for their 2017 report based on two main components: business performance and opinion which are combined into a total composite score. The Top 25 is selected from among a master list of companies on the Fortune Global 500 and Global 2000 annual rankings.
