AB Vassilopoulos, received five new awards and an honorary distinction at self service “Excellence Awards 2017”, an institution which rewards the best initiatives of supermarkets and their suppliers as well as the best collaborative practices. For second year in a row, the company stood out for its contribution to the Greek economy in such difficult times and was distinguished in four categories hilighting its innovative practices.
In the award ceremony which took place on Thursday July 6th, AB Vassilopoulos was distinguished in the following categories:
- Contribution to the Development & National Economy for AB Vassilopoulos` contribution to the stimulation of the Greek market, the national economy and employment, through investments that the company consistently makes
- Marketing & Advertising for the campaign “Why here”, which unfolds the reasons why AB Vassilopoulos invests in Greece, in the greek land, its people and in new generations
- Private Label Products for the fresh milk from Thessalia of the series “AB Konta stin Elliniki Gi” for supporting the greek primary sector, producers in every corner of Greece and the greek production in total.
- Corporate Social Responsibility – Enviroment – AB Recycling Centers, the proof of respect towards the environment, the proof of faith in a better future.
- Exemplar store-AB ShopMate – Beacon enabled store, for Peristeri 1, a high standard store which offers to costumers a unique and innovative shopping experience.
Moreover, on the occasion of self service magazine`s 45 years, AB Vassilopoulos received an honorary distinction as one of the companies with significant presence in the retail sector since 1972, the year of the magazine`s foundation.
AB Vassilopoulos, 78 years now implements its vision. The company, with costumer-centricity, equaly focuses at all levels and strongly supports the country`s primary sector as well as the greek economy and society.
