KPMG announces maturity assessment roadmap leveraging Microsoft services to help businesses meet the requirements of the EU General Data Protection Regulation
KPMG announced an offering developed together with Microsoft to help companies prepare for and meet the requirements of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the landmark data privacy law – in force 25 May 2018 – that will apply to all organisations that process the personal data of citizens residing in EU regardless of their location.
The GDPR discovery and maturity assessment model helps clients meet the requirements of GDPR using a customised program of processes, procedures and technology capabilities. The model provides a high-level roadmap to help clients overcome identified compliance gaps backed by a portfolio of capabilities that combines KPMG’s cyber security, regulatory and industry experience with Microsoft’s market leading data management, governance, collaboration tools and the Microsoft Azure cloud platform.
