OTE: Five Excellence Awards in SDE Corporate Responsibility Awards ceremony

OTE Group, with 5 excellence awards, was by far the big winner of the Corporate Responsibility Awards ceremony organized by the Association of Advertising Companies (SDE) and held at the multiplex venue “DESTINATION PAPASTRATOS”. The awarded projects showcased the significant contribution of the Group to the following fields: Innovation, Society-Civilization & Sports, Constant Commitment & Provision, Environment and Society-People.

Mrs. Deppie Tzimea, Executive Director of Corporate Communications at OTE Group, said about responsible entrepreneurship:” At the OTE Group, we believe that responsible entrepreneurship is inextricably linked to sustainable growth. We support vulnerable social groups and childrens’ education. We join efforts towards a sustainable environment for all”.
  • Sea Hero Quest, the Mobile Game for research against dementia, developed along with COSMOTE, won the first prize in Innovation category. At least more than 110,000 people in Greece and 2,5 million people worldwide have contributed to the research.
  • The Wi-Fi to 20 of the largest archeological sites and museums of Greece project was awarded in Society-Civilization & Sports category.
  • The initiative for the creation of 3 emergency units and medical unit equipment for children was honored with the excellence award in Constant Commitment and Provision. Until now, more than 85,000 children were provided with medical care through the program.
  • The COSMOTE initiative for the support of educational robotics competitions, in which 3,500 students participated, was awarded in Society-People category.
  • The recycling project of OTE Group buildings, through which 80 tons of material were recycled in 2016, was awarded in Environment field.
Through technology and innovation, OTE Group aims to make the world better. The program includes five Sustainable Growth action pillars, focusing on supporting vulnerable social teams, promoting digital transformation, protecting the environment, developing a safe and flexible work environment as well as responsible entrepreneurship.
