It has been 25 years since we issued the first OK compost INDUSTRIAL certificate.

Since then the family has grown with the HOME version, the variations of OK biodegradable SOIL, WATER & MARINE family and with OK biobased, for the determination of the natural origin of the materials.

But it’s not the only way the family’s grown. To improve our services, our network of partners, within the TÜV AUSTRIA group but also outside, is constantly growing and we have audited many laboratories that now allow us to assess products all over the world.

To absorb this growth, the team has also been expanded from one part-time person at the very beginning to a team of 14 specialists in Brussels, and as many people in about ten countries, serving our more than 1,000 clients and their nearly 4,000 certificates.

As evidenced by the fact that almost 2/3 of our first 150 licensees, registered between 1995 and 2010, are still there today!
