OTE Group and MYTILINEOS received the gold award in the “Continuous Business Improvement” category for the “Database Administration as a Service (DBaaS)” project, which concerns the monitoring and support of all MYTILINEOS databases.

The gold award in the “Corporate Transformation” category also went to the first cellular campus network in Greece, which COSMOTE designed and installed – in partnership with Ericsson, Gizelis Robotics and PTC – for Calpak’s fully automated solar water heater production facility in Loutraki, as well as Greece’s first 5G campus network, created by COSMOTE for Athens International Airport, in the “Information-Telecommunications Technology Provider” category.

In the “Social Contribution” category, the Missing Alert App for faster location of missing persons in Greece, designed and developed by COSMOTE for «The Smile of the Child» organisation, won the gold award.

Finally, COSMOTE received the bronze award in the “ICT solutions for Professionals/Small and Medium Enterprises” category for the Digital Marketing4U service, which supports small and medium-sized enterprises through digital promotion and advertising on social media and search engines.

The BITE awards, which highlight best IT and Communications practices in Greek businesses, are being organised for the tenth year by Boussias Communications and the ELTRUN E-Business Research Centre of the Athens University of Economics and Business, under the auspices of SEPE.
