On the road: Greece seeks investment
September 9, 2011
London, England — Mr. Evangelos Mytilineos, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, MYTILINEOS Holdings S.A., discusses the Greek debt crisis and attracting foreign investment. He speaks with Ms. Andrea Catherwood on Bloomberg Television’s “Last Word”.
Andrea Catherwood: “Evangelos Mytilineos is the chief executive of one of the ten best performers on the Greek Stock Exchange so far this year.
Welcome! Thank you very much for coming to see us here on the ‘Last Word’.
It may, it sounds like a pretty tall order to encourage foreign investment into Greece right now. How is it working out? What is the response from foreign investors?”
Evangelos Mytilineos: “It does, as a matter of fact it does. It is difficult to attract foreign investment at this moment of time. Greece, unfortunately, is in the eye of the cycle. It is difficult. But things will not always be like that. We are working on it. The private sector is working very much on it. I think the Government as well.”
