‘If I could build my whole world around you’ is COSMOTE’s new song

“If I Could Build My Whole World Around You”
is the new track selected by COSMOTE to feature on its advertising campaigns

This popular song was recorded for the first time in 1967 by the duet Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell. Through the song’s lyrics the two singers describe what they would do if they were able to build a whole world around their beloved one. These lyrics dovetail perfectly with COSMOTE’s own philosophy which revolves around each and every individual, goes beyond verbal commitments and contributes towards improving the world around us.

The song’s pop-rock remix was created for COSMOTE by “Expert Medicine feat. Sillyboy”, a rising Greek band which became known through COSMOTE’s Jumping fish (www.jumpingfish.gr), a platform offering young artists the opportunity to demonstrate their talent.

COSMOTE subscribers can download the remixed track free of charge in MP3 format from Music Zone, COSMOTE’s Music Store, and play it on any device (www.musiczone.cosmotemyview.gr). Subscribers who own Smartphones running on Android (https://market.android.com) can download the track free of charge in the same format through COSMOTE Music Application, the new music app of the company.

The track also accompanies COSMOTE’s new campaign “Our world is you”. A new campaign which offers everyone the opportunity to communicate what they would like to do in order to make the world around them a better place and see their wish come true with COSMOTE’s help by sharing their wish on COSMOTE’s Facebook page www.facebook.com/cosmote or on the dedicated blog: www.okosmosmasesy.gr.

Further information about the song
“If I Could Build My Whole World Around You” was the third single that Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell sang together as a couple, and the second one which made it to the Top 10 of Billboard’s Pop as well as R&B charts. It was one of the few songs which helped Gaye and Terrell distinguish themselves as a duet from the other R&B couples of the time. Over the course of time, this track, along with other songs by the famous couple, has become one of the most memorable R&B duets of that period.
