AB Vassilopoulos was honoured with the “True Leaders” award by ICAP as 1 of the 51 “healthy” businesses out of a total of 27,000 Greek companies. The Institution emphasizes for the first time on the Greek companies that have stood out for their performance and demonstrated an important progress during 2010.
The 4 main criteria for AB nomination were to:
- Be included amongst the 200 most profitable companies for2010, based on EBITDA
- Be amongst the 200 Corporations with the highest number of employees and staff increase based on ICAP Leading Employers in Greece 2011 data
- Rank in the top 10 companies of the industry based on its turnover
- Have received a high credit rating
On behalf of AB, Dimitris Artikopoulos, VP Human Resources & Organizational Development, accepted the award from Manolis Paterakis (Special Secretary of Competitiveness).
