COSMOTE received two awards in the ERP and CRM categories at the Business IT Excellence Awards, which premiered this year in Greece.
The company received an award in the ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) category, on the “Business Awards for best Information Technology use” pillar, for implementing a common, centralised ERP system at Group level to achieve optimum resource management by all companies in SE Europe. On the same pillar, COSMOTE won a prize in the CRM (Customer Relationship Management) category for its program of integrating all Group companies’ CRM systems under a single common-core system, aiming at further upgrading customer service and experience.
The awards were received by OTE Group Operations & IT Systems General Director, Mr. George Athanasopoulos, who thanked all Group employees across all countries for contributing to the project’s success and quietly supporting information systems for quality service provision.
The aim of the Business IT Excellence Awards institution is to promote best practices from the IT sector that enhance operational efficiency, promote innovation and highlight the contribution of the sector to the economy and society.
The awards institution is launched and organised by the “netweek” magazine of Boussias Communications with the scientific support of the E-Business Research Centre (ELTRUN) of the Athens University of Economics and Business.
