Playtime for the ‘Family Support Programme’ of COSMOTE and KYADA in cooperation with the Hellenic Children’s Museum

The team of the Hellenic Children’s Museum organised volunteer educational programmes for children aged 2 to 14 years old, which combine learning with entertainment, through the innovative museum kit “Bubbles”. Experimentations on the natural qualities of water, as well as painting with ink and colours were only some of the activities that put a smile on the faces of more than 25 children who had the opportunity to unfold their talents.

The educational programmes took place at a facility specially configured for this purpose at the building that hosts the “Family Support Programme” in the area of Makrygianni.

This activity was organised in the context of the innovative Family Support Programme of COSMOTE carried out in cooperation with KYADA. Through the Programme COSMOTE provides for a whole year food, clothing and other necessities, toys, books, Internet access, as well as support by psychologists and social workers of KYADA to 200 families in total. The Program is based on an idea by Iliana Karavioti and aims to support families in need, while it is the second initiative to be materialised among the ideas that thousands of people shared with COSMOTE in the framework of the campaign “Our world is you”.
