ΟΤΕ-COSMOTE 2012 Scholarships: Supporting first-year students at the beginning of their student life

For the academic year 2012-2013, OTE and COSMOTE will offer twenty (20) Scholarships, of fifteen thousand two hundred eighty-five Euros each (EUR 15,280) . Eligible students must have been admitted to a Higher Education Institution (except for Military Schools) through the Panhellenic Examination system and must have graduated in 2012 from a public high school in the following regions: Argolis, Arcadia, Arta, Attika, Cyclades, Euboea, Evrytania, Fthiotida, Imathia, Kavala, Magnesia, Rethymno, Samos, Serres, Thesprotia, Thessaloniki, Zakynthos. Moreover, COSMOTE will also award Honorary Distinctions that will each offer the amount of one thousand five hundred twenty-eight Euros (EUR 1,528) to selected applicants for their outstanding school and extra-curricular performance. One of the main criteria for the evaluation and selection of scholarship applicants is their social and family situation (persons with disabilities, families with many children, low income, etc.).

Applications can be submitted only electronically through the official website www.ote-cosmote-scholarships.gr. The deadline for the submission of the electronic application is 24 October 2012. The Scholarship Program was established in 2002 and has thus far awarded 106 Scholarships and 231 Honorary Distinctions, worth more than 1.6 million Euros. It has already covered all regions of the Greek territory twice.

Through this specific Corporate Responsibility action, OTE and COSMOTE continue standing by the side of young people and their families, so that they can plan their future, just as they imagine it.
