Important distinctions for OTE and COSMOTE’s Corporate Responsibility

Important distinctions OTE and COSMOTE gained for their Corporate Responsibility activities. Three distinctions at this year’s “Thales – CEO & CSR 2012” awards, having stood out for their Corporate Social Responsibility activities, whereas OTE was honored as a benefactor by MDA Hellas, the muscular dystrophy association.

The OTE Group won on the one hand the “Highest Corporate Social Responsibility Distinction” Thales Prize and on the other hand the third place in the category “Most Popular Company in CSR”.
Similarly, COSMOTE won second place in the category “Best CSR Campaign / Communication” with its campaign “Our world is you”.

Furthermore, in the context of the conference session entitled: “Case Studies: Companies that play an active role in strengthening the community’s quality of life” the OTE Group presented as best practice the OTE-COSMOTE Scholarship Program, that was recently launched for the eleventh consecutive year.

OTE was honored as a benefactor by MDA Hellas for his long commitment in supporting their work, during the opening of their new building. OTE supports MDA since 2004.
