TÜV AUSTRIA HELLAS executives recently participated at the GLOBALGAP
Summit in Madrid of Spain with great success. This congress was held for
the 11h time by GLOBALGAP and more than 400 participants from all the
levels of production attended. Particularly, there were people coming
from not only the primary production, processing and manufacturing, but
food storage and distribution too. It is worth noting that a lead
auditor of TÜV AUSTRIA HELLAS participated to the main panel of speakers
and presented TÜV AUSTRIA HELLAS experiences of its first
certification about aquaculture which was based on the relevant standard
of GLOBALG.A.P. / IFA 4.0 Aquaculture BASE.

TÜV AUSTRIA HELLAS, which has been already recognized according to the international standard “GLOBALG.A.P. / IFA 4.0 Aquaculture BASE” as “Provisional Certification Body” (www2.globalgap.org/cb-profiles/9000.html), took part in this summit in order to further improve its services.
GLOBALG.A.P. / IFA 4.0 Aquaculture BASE standard is about the product certification and focuses on aquaculture levels with packaging and sales included. TÜV AUSTRIA HELLAS stands as a market leader in the aquaculture field. Also, it has already carried out the translation and the technical performance of the Aquaculture BASE standard in the Greek language according to the agreement with Foodplus GmbH.
Finally, TÜV AUSTRIA HELLAS is recognized by GLOBALGAP as an organization of certification in Fresh Fruits & Vegetables sector.
