The Yearbook 2014/15 “The Power of Collaboration” was presented by Global Sustain

Global Sustain presented its 8th “Yearbook” entitled “The Power of Collaboration” with great success. The official presentation took place on Tuesday, July 7th, at a special and carbon neutral event, at Michael Cacoyannis Foundation and was attended by senior executives from the business world, and Global Sustain friends and partners.
 
Mr. Michael Spanos, Managing Partner, Global Sustain, welcomed the attendees and presented this year’s edition with reference to its articles and its contributors.  

Afterwards, Dr. George Ioannou, Director, MBA International Programme, Athens University of Economics and Business, talked about the creation of a collaboration spirit through executive education programmes that might be the key to a sustainable future. Moreover, Dr. Ioannou analysed the way in which the MBA International meets students’ requirements.

Dr. Athina Linos, President of the Institute of Preventive Medicine Environmental and Occupational Health, Prolepsis, talked about the importance of implementing programmes that focus on the public health and welfare.

Mr. Yannis Salavopoulos, Founder and President, CAPITALS Business Circle, in his speech argued that the enhanced collaboration between enterprises and academic institutions can lead to the creation of an ecosystem with scientific and business background, while also it could designate future executives.

Dr. Markos Loukogiannakis, General Manager, SEV Business Council for Sustainable Development, highlighted the need to reach an international consensus in order to tackle climate change and quoted the initiatives of the World Business Council for Sustainable Development.

At the end of the event, Mr. Spanos informed the attendees about the ongoing developments at Global Sustain, including the creation of Global Sustain Ltd in London, its presence in Berlin, as well as the scheduled presentations of the Yearbook in Brussels, Berlin and Dubai during autumn season.
