Michael Spanos takes part in the Sustainable Brands 2015 London

The Managing Director of Global Sustain, Mr. Michael Spanos, took part in the 3-day conference Sustainable Brands 2015 that was held in London, from 16 to 18 November 2015, by organizing a special workshop on the UN Sustainable Development Goals. More than 400 brand, business and sustainability leaders from 31 countries participated in the conference.

During the conference, the participants had the opportunity to learn about the latest sustainability innovations and hear practitioners who lead the way in terms of sustainability.

 

More specifically, the panel discussion organised by Global Sustain was held on November 17th, and it was moderated by Michael Spanos. Among speakers were: Ole Lund Hanser, Chief, Leadership Programs, UN Global Compact, Silvia Donato, Policy Analyst, European Commission, DG Research & Innovation, Aris Vrettos, Director of Open Programmes, the Institute for Sustainability Leadership, Cambridge University and Anna Swaithes, Sustainable Development Director, SABMiller plc.

Furthermore, Global Sustain supported the edie Sustainability Leaders Awards that took place on November 19th in London. Mr. Michael Spanos gave the Sustainable Business of the Year award to Willmott Dixon.

The participation of Global Sustain in these important events in London demonstrates the recognition that the company enjoys by reputable international organisations and institutions.
