European Reliance-Proud Supporter of the Greek Olympic Team who fly to Rio 2016 Olympic Games

European Reliance in an attempt to reinforce the efforts of the Greek athletes who shall represent our country at the biggest international  sports event, Rio  2016 Olympic Games, proudly  announces  its  collaboration  with  the  Hellenic  Olympic Committe as an  official “Supporter of the Greek Olympic Team”.

This  particular  collaboration  shall  provide  a  group  insurance plan  for  the  members of  the  Greek  Olympic  team  who  shall  fly  to  Rio  and  it  covers  their  journey  to  Brazil and  in  particular  their  accommodation,  their  transportation  in  and  out  of  the  sports  and  training  venues  in  the    different cities where they shall compete. Moreover, it covers all potential accidents which might occur during training and competition.

European  Reliance  as  “Supporter  of  the  Greek  Olympic  Team”  received  an  honorary  award  by  the  Hellenic Olympic Committee (HOC) during a special event on J
anuary 27 at the HCO’s auditorium. Top  Greek  men  and  women  athletes,  Mr  Thomas  Bach,  acting  President  of  the  International  Olympic Committee  (IOC),  Mr  Patrick  Hickley,  President  of  the  European  Olympic  Committees,  as  well  as  Mr Jacques Rogge, IOC’s former President honored the event with their presence.

Mr  Christos  Georgakopoulos,  Managing  Director  of  European  Reliance,  upon  receipt  of  the  honorary award  from  Mr  Th.  Terzis,  President  of  the  Hellenic  Cycling  Federation,  said:  “We  are  all  genuinely proud that our company, European Reliance, as official “Supporter of the Greek Olympic Team” keeps the  dream  of  the  Greek  athletes  representing  our  country  to  Rio  2016  alive.  We  wish  for  the  Greek team to thrive during the Games and thus promote a brighter side of  Greece. Greek athletes through their achievements shall keep our flag high in the Brazilian sky as ambassadors of the Olympic ideals.
