European Reliance SA won the 2nd prize in the “Corporate Governance” category in the “Hrima Business Awards 2016” organised for the 14th consecutive year by the investment and financial magazine HRIMA.
The event was held on the 15th of February, and aimed, according to the vote by the magazine’s and e-paper’s readers, to showcase and award companies that contribute in the development of the stock market institution and the Greek economy in general.
The award was accepted by BoD Member and General Manager of Financial and Administrative Services of the Company, Mr. Stefanos Verzovitis, who stated among other things: “For European Reliance, this award is a recognition and reward for the Corporate Governance principles which have applied for 40 years now. In fact, for everyone working at European Reliance, the principles of Corporate Governance constitute, from the first day of the Company’s operation, an integral set of rules that help in achieving prudent and effective Company management, with efficient use of the available productive resources and transparency in corporate operations, in the long-term interest of all parties involved”.
