Monday 18 September, the CEO and General Manager of Enel, Francesco Starace will be speaking in London at the 2017 edition of the Future of Energy Summit, the international forum that focuses on the main challenges in the energy sector. The debate will be streamed live.
The event, which is promoted by Bloomberg New Energy Finance (BNEF), the prestigious US press agency’s research organization specialized in the energy market, represents one of the key international events for debate about energy issues. Each year BNEF publishes the New Energy Outlook, which focuses on the main trends in the sector. Alongside this report, BNEF organizes three international forums (a Global Summit in New York and two Regional Summits in London and Shanghai) in order to promote, in venues in different areas of the globe, open debate with representatives from the world of industry, finance, technology and politics on the transformations taking place in the energy market and the challenges of the coming years.
As part of the Future of Energy Summit in London, Starace will be at the heart of the debate on the panel “Utility transformations” that will discuss the new challenges for large energy companies concerning the transformation of the market and the definition of a new relationship with customers. In addition to the Enel CEO, participating in the debate will also be Leonhard Birnbaum, Chief Operating Officer of E.ON Networks & Renewables, Magnus Hall, President and CEO, Vattenfall AB and Peter Terium, CEO of Innogy SE. Chairing the panel, which will be streamed live from 12.30 pm (UK time) will be Paul Benjamin, Director of Bloomberg New Energy Finance.
