The 36th Bi-Annual Corporate Affiliates Achieving Results Executive Workshop took place at the Saratoga Springs City Center, NY, on June 20-21.
Michael Spanos, Managing Director of Global Sustain Group, participated as chair in the workshop Delivering on the Bottom Line. Mr. Spanos, referred to the Task Force on Climate-Related Financial Disclosures (TCFD), a significant development in sustainability with direct impact on the bottom line, as well as at the European Commission’s strategy for a greener and cleaner economy in relation with TCFD and the implementation and principles of Social Return on Investment (SROI).
Among panelists were: Mark Tulay, Program Director, Strategic Investor Initiative, CECP, Robert Jenkins, Global Head of Research, Thomson Reuters, Bod Laux, North American Lead, International Integrated Reporting Council (IIRC) and Jack Robinson, Vice Chair and Portfolio Manager, Trillium Asset Management.
