Graham Black's book "The Engaging Museum: Developing Museums for Visitor Involvement" (translated by Sonia Kotidou) is now available. On the basis of his teaching and museology experience, the author expounds on the evolution of museums from "strong-rooms" for valuable objects to modern and socially-aware organisations. The book offers a practical approach on how to deal with a variety of museum themes by providing examples and interpretative means and stresses the interactive relation between museums and their visitors.
