EuroCharity wishes to inform its stakeholders that the values-based firm is adapting its annual NGO funding commitment — previously 25% of the total annual membership fees received — to better reflect Greece’s latest amendment of Law 2238/1994 (i.e. L. 3842/2010).
Since its establishment in 2006, EuroCharity has donated 25% of its annual on-line subscription revenues (membership fees) to eight not-for-profit projects carried out by EuroCharity’s NGO (non-governmental organisation) members, with the aim of helping fund specific social, environmental or other needs in Greece’s citizen sector.
As part of its values, EuroCharity continues to be committed to its annual NGO funding policy and procedure. The company’s revised NGO project funding commitment — 10% of annual pre-tax earnings — will be effectve from fiscal year 2010 onwards.
It should be noted that the electronic voting poll commenced yesterday and will end on November 19, 2010.
