COSMOTE CEO, Michael Tsamaz, was presented with the “Manager of the Year” Award, during the 12th International Info-Com World Conference, meeting point for yearly telecom authorities, businesses and sector executives.
Mr. Tsamaz thanked the Conference’s organizers for the award, which, as he noted, is a recognition of the efforts of COSMOTE’s management team and employees to sustain and further expand the company’s presence and growth in Greece and SE Europe, during particularly challenging times. Mr. Tsamaz especially thanked COSMOTE’s customers for their preference and loyalty.
During the last three years and in a mature mobile market, COSMOTE has captured more than ten percentage points in market share. During the first half of 2010, COSMOTE is the only among 17 mobile market leaders in respective European markets, to have increased its share in all three key performance indicators: market share, market revenue share and sector EBITDA share.
