Best PM Initiative Awards 2011

Within the framework of the 14th People Management Symposium and as part of the 2011 Best People Management Initiative Awards, for the 10th consecutive year KPMG awarded three companies on the Greek market for the best initiative in the field of People Management.

The event took place on the evening of February 16, 2011 and the winning companies and their winning categories were (in alphabetical order):
  • Athenian Brewery for its initiative in the “Learning & Development” category
  • AXA Insurance for its initiative in the “Employee Retention” category
  • XEROX for its initiative in the “Employee Retention” category
This year’s awards were particularly festive in character, due to the 10-year anniversary of the Best PM Initiative Awards.

In a special ceremony after the main awards were given for 2010, an honorary gift was also given to all companies that were previously awarded during the last decade.

The Assessment Committee is an independent group of accomplished professionals and academics:

  • Milona Martha, Head of H.R. Department for the South Eastern Region of DDB, President of the Greek Personnel Management Association (SDADE)
  • Pagidas Michael, Managing Director of Sarakakis Group of Companies, Honoray Chairman of S.C Johnson Hellas S.A., Chairman of the Board of Directors of EASE
  • Papalexandris Nancy, Professor – Director of the Master of Science Programme in Human Resource Management Athens University of Economics & Business, Vice-President IHRM, HMA
