TÜV AUSTRIA HELLAS awarded, following an on-site audit, to HOUSEMARKET
S.A. (ΙΚΕΑ) a certificate of compliance for the food safety management
system of its restaurants in Greece according to ISO 22000. The Audits
covered all of IKEA’s points of presence in Greece.

For some time now, IKEA following the philosophy that IKEA’s stores are not just furniture stores but also a place that offers a pleasant experience to all, has added restaurants to all of its points of presence. The purpose of the certification of the food safety management system is to prove in the most evident manner that IKEA cares for the pleasant experience of its customers.
The certification was carried out by the internationally well known Certification Body TÜV AUSTRIA HELLAS, according to the provisions of ISO 22000:2005. TÜV AUSTRIA HELLAS holds a leading position in the field of food safety certification, providing holistic audit and certification services that range from the integrated management in Agricultural Production and farm assurance (AGRO 2.1-2.2, GLOBALGAP), to food processing (HACCP, ISO 22000, BRC, IFS, FSSC 22000, IFS BROKER, IFS Logistics), the management of pork meat quality assurance (AGRO 3.1-3.2-3.3-3.4) and finally the certification of all the categories of biological products (Agricultural Production, Meat Production, Feedingstuffs, Processing).
