The 9th Greece Race for the Cure®, with Zappeion as its starting point, took place on Sunday, 1 October 2017 and included a 5km race plus a 2km symbolic walk against breast cancer. It was organized by “Alma Zois”, the Hellenic Association of Women with Breast Cancer, and counted more than 35.500 participants. DEPA was a sponsor for the event.
Greece Race for the Cure® is a widely recognized event, the 2nd largest Race for the Cure® in the world, and is co-organized by the City of Athens and the City of Athens Culture, Sport & Youth Organization (OPANDA).
