European Reliance successfully passed the annual review on its Compliance Management System, conducted by the certification body TUV Hellas, according to the guidelines of the international certification standard ISO 19600:2014, and successfully received recertifications for ISO 9001:2015, ISO 27001:2013 and ISO 50001:2018. With these certifications, European Reliance is the only insurance company in Greece that complies with 4 international Standards.
More specifically, the certification with ISO 19600:2014 verifies the proper implementation of the Compliance Management System, is a new distinction for the Company, is part of the strategic plan of the Company’s Management for the complete, prompt and effective compliance with the continuous regulatory changes that take place over the past years in the insurance sector, protecting simultaneously the interests of the consumers and any interested party.
Regarding the three certifications of the Company, ISO 9001:2015 ensures the Quality Management System that European Reliance applies for the planning and provision of insurance services, ensuring proper compliance with the quality criteria for the provided services and the Company enhances its reputation, decreases the productive cost and improves the management of its resources.
With ISO 27001:2013, the Company verifies the implementation and effectiveness of the Information Security Management System. Its implementation constantly improves the Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability of Information and strengthens the relationships of trust of the Company with its customers and insurance agents.
Additionally, ISO 50001:2018 certification and the review of the Energy Management System for the headquarters of the Company in Athens and Thessaloniki, proves the significant impact of European Reliance General Insurance Co. S.A. in power saving and raising awareness for the Environment and the Society.
