Alpha Bank included in the Bloomberg Gender-Equality Index (GEI)

Alpha Bank has been included in the Bloomberg Gender-Equality Index (GEI), one of the most important indexes for businesses around the world, for its commitment to advancing women in the workplace. 

At the data assessment that determined the Bank’s inclusion in the GEI Index, Alpha Bank was distinguished for its contribution to creating a work environment of equal opportunities for both men and women, as well as its policies, programmes and human resources benefits that are equally addressed to all Employees. 

The Bloomberg Gender-Equality Index (GEI) is one of the most comprehensive indexes on gender equality issues globally, and today it includes 230 companies around the world, two of which are Greek. It assesses listed companies from all sectors of the economy, in terms of transparency in gender reporting and advancing women in the workplace. 

The GEI Index is a key source of information for the global investment community, at a time that a growing number of investors are incorporating environmental-socialgovernance (ESG) data into their decisions.
