Google Digital Garage Partners With RWM
The global powerhouse offering business growth advice for the developing industry
Upon acquiring RWM, Prysm Media Group made it a clear objective to have a deeper focus on the Business aspect of the waste industry. Delivering on this promise, Prysm are delighted to announce that Google Digital Garage will be partnering with RWM when it lands at the NEC in Birmingham on 12 and 13 September. Tickets for the event are free and registration is open now!
Ironically, the waste industry has been struggling to switch on to modern marketing tech and practises, so Google Digital Garage will be hosting seminars discussing the best tactics and methods to become more visible online, a topic that all 21st century businesses have to start considering given the changing landscape. Offering waste professionals this unique opportunity to learn from the teams at the front of digital marketing innovation is something RWM are proud to offer to the visitors, and it’s another fantastic reason to register for your free tickets online!
‘Having household names like Google appearing at RWM proves the reputation this show has amongst professionals of any industry. Having dedicated spaces to discuss the growing business side of the industry is a key reason as to why RWM will be the biggest and best it’s ever been this year.’ Nick Woore, Event Director, RWM.
Self-Made Millionaire Jacqueline O’Donovan to Speak at Business Growth Theatre
Jacqueline O’Donovan is a self made millionaire within the waste industry. Taking over as Managing Director of her late father’s company O’Donovan Waste Disposal when Jacqueline was 19, she was subsequently able to build the company and herself into titans within the waste industry. Jacqueline will be speaking in the Business Growth Theatre and will be sharing her success story to the visitors whilst also sharing the lessons learnt through the trying times she faced during the business growth.
Jacqueline O’Donovan, Managing Director, O’Donovan Waste Disposal, says ‘Waste was not really thought about too much and its content or destination was never really discussed whereas now, people are far more conscious about what happens to waste, the amounts generated and where it ends up. The more we talk about waste and recycling - whether it be industry events or expos, the more everyone learns and ‘every day is an education!’
Alongside Google Digital Garage and Jacqueline O’Donovan, other Business Growth seminars to plan ahead for include Jacob Hayler of the Environmental Services Association examining how local councils can utilise competition to secure a better value for money as well as Iona Capital leading a seminar looking at the options available for resource management in the future.
The Biggest Brands Returning To The Best Show
RWM would be nothing without the market leading exhibitors showcasing their innovative products and services to the visitors. RWM is recognised across the industry as the leading expo of it’s kind and because of this brands like JCB and Mercedes Benz will be exhibiting again. More fantastic returning brands include Bradshaw, Glutton and E-Power Trucks. All of these well established brands will be bringing with them their latest and greatest products to exhibit and sell.
David Banks, Sales Manager, JCB World Headquarters says ‘JCB have been supplying Waste & Recycling equipment to the Industry for over 30 years, so we felt it was important to have a presence at the 2018 RWM Exhibition for our customers. It is critical that our customers are able to engage directly with their local JCB representation, so regardless of where you are from in the UK, we will be on hand to provide our customers with not only the largest choice of Waste Handling equipment available, but more importantly the best possible solutions and advice.’
