AB Vassilopoulos for 3rd consecutive year, participated in the symbolic running event “Greek Race for the Cure”. The race is being successfully organized since 2009 in the framework of raising awareness and informing the public about breast cancer in Greece. As a follow-on to the “Donate Strength” initiative, on Sunday, October 1st, more than 150 employees of AB Vassilopoulos and Procter & Gamble, shared moments of optimism and hope.
Moreover, AB Vassilopoulos sponsored the “Little Runners” team this year. Alongside with our little friends, AB Vassilopoulos` employees walked around Zappeion in a circular route,showcasing with their joyful and playful mood the importance of team effort
“Donate Strength” program, aims at supporting women who are trying to beat breast cancer, providing wigs. The initiative is being held for 3rd consecutive year by the Hellenic Association of Women with Breast Cancer “ALMA ZOIS”, in cooperation with AB Vassilopoulos and Pantene (Procter & Gamble). Till today, with the contribution of women and girls from across the country, 18,000 braids have been donated, strengthening women that face cancer.
