CSRwire and EuroCharity join forces, expand horizons internationally

CSRwire, LLC, Inc. and Athens-based EuroCharity today announced the formation of a strategic international alliance

EuroCharity, which, among other activities, owns and operates Greece’s most comprehensive Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) directory (www.eurocharity.org/en), will promote CSRwire.com on its popular bi-lingual (Greek and English) portal and through numerous EuroCharity-backed or organised events in Greece and overseas.

In addition, EuroCharity will offer its local, regional and international members from both the business world and citizen sector the opportunity to become a member of CSRwire. These businesses and organisations will now be able to communicate their corporate social repsonsibility (CSR), sustainability, accountability and socially-responsible initiatives to a global audience through CSRwire’s syndication network, news alerts, Web site, blogs, RSS Feeds, news aggregators, send-to-friend feature and search engines.

CSRwire will in turn pro-actively promote EuroCharity’s activities, initiatives and events on CSRwire.com and to its members world-wide.

Commenting on this exciting new alliance, Mr. Peter Michel Heilmann, President, EuroCharity, said: “CSRwire and EuroCharity share common values, a common vision and, in some cases, common members and partners. Our new international alliance will be of tremendous benefit to the business world and citizen sector, both locally and globally, and we therefore very much look forward to working closely with CSRwire and to furthering our mission of making a world of difference.”

Mr. Jack Wysocki, Global Outreach, CSRwire, said: “We are thrilled to expand our growing international network of partners with such a dynamic partner in South-East Europe. There are a great number of companies and organisations based in Greece that are active throughout the region and we are looking forward to helping them to promote their CSR initiatives.”
