Five Awards for AB VASSILOPOULOS at the SELF SERVICE Excellence Awards 2016

For one more year, ΑΒ Vassilopoulos `s successful course was recognized at Self Service Excellence Awards 2016, through five awards in all categories in which the company was a candidate. These new awards complement a long line of the company`s distinction for contributing to the stimulation of the Greek market, for social responsibility and for the innovating ideas and services it offers. More specifically, at the award ceremony of Self Service Excellence 2016, on Monday 11th July, AB Vassilopoulos received awards in the following categories: Contribution in the National Economy-For AB`s contribution to the stimulation of the Greek market, the national economy and employment, through continuous investments that reinforce the commercial activity in local communities, create new job positions all over the country, support Greek producers` competitiveness and promote their products to foreign markets by reinforcing their competiveness internationally. Store Renovation -For the AB MEGA Ethniki Store. A new international standards store which showcases in the best way the values of quality, transparency, social responsibility and support of the Greek products & values that differentiate AB from its competitors. E-Super Market- for the e-store ΑΒ click2shop, which offers to consumers an upgraded purchasing experience through quick and easy browsing in an online environment while at the same time enjoying the familiarity of a traditional AB store. Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)-Environment- For the program “Responsible Fishing’ which reflects the joined effort of AB Vassilopoulos and all entities involved in protecting the Greek seas and fishermen’s income, now as well as in the future. Shared Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) actions-For the shared action “XARISE DYNAMI” “Donate power”. AB Vassilopoulos and Pantene Pro-V joined forces in cooperation with “ALMA ZOIS” in order to support women with breast cancer. 

On accepting the Award for “Contribution to the National Economy”, the Chief Operating Officer of AB, Leonidas Vretakkos stated: This award is a special honor for all of us in AB Vassilopoulos.
