Greece’s prestigious ‘CEO & CSR 2007’ award winners announced

The three co-organisers of the forthcoming “CEO & CSR: Mainstreaming Corporate Social Responsibility in Business Strategy” Conference today announced the winners of the “CEO & CSR 2007″ awards, the nominees of which were pre-selected by EuroCharity and the Centre for Sustainability & Excellence (CSE).

The winners were determined through an electronic poll, conducted earlier this month, in which “Money Week’s” 49,000 weekly electronic newsletter readers, EuroCharity.org’s thousands of on-line visitors and members, CSE International Network’s 4,000 CSR professionals, readers of the popular Greek-language kerdos.gr and capital.gr portals, and members of the Hellenic Bank Association (HBA), Association of Greek Institutional Investors (AGGI) as well as Greece’s Union of Listed Companies (ULC) were able to participate.

The following 15 “CEO & CSR 2007” awards, in five categories, will be presented at the “CEO & CSR: Mainstreaming Corporate Social Responsibility in Business Strategy” Conference on October 31, 2007:

1) Visionary CEO in CSR

2nd: Mr. Michael Sallas (Piraeus Bank S.A.)

2) Best CSR Manager

4) Best CSR or Sustainability Report 2006
