Gold Award for Global Sustain at the Hellenic Responsible Business Awards!

Global Sustain was honoured with a gold award at the Hellenic Responsible Business Awards, which took place on Wednesday, 13th of July, for the seventh year, at the “Hellenic Cosmos” Cultural Center.

The Hellenic Responsible Business Awards are held under the auspices of the Ministry of Development and Investment, the Ministry of Environment and Energy and the Hellenic Federation of Enterprises, awarding companies that promote the values of Responsible Entrepreneurship and invest in Sustainable Environmental and Social Development.

Global Sustain was awarded in the “B2B Collaboration” category with the gold award for Global Sustain’s collaboration with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) to develop digital Applications for the Environmental and Social Risk Management in Loans and Investments.

More specifically, Global Sustain developed in collaboration with Think Plus two ESG digital applications for EBRD clients, one for banks and one for private equity funds. The ESG Applications focus on the ESG risk assessment process through a specific EBRD methodology. In addition, the Applications assess the impact of loans and investments on the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), so that financial institutions and private equity funds can mobilise funds in their loan and investment portfolios that contribute toward specific SDGs. Mr. Michael Spanos, Managing Director of Global Sustain, said: “We are very happy for this distinction which comes at a time when we are accelerating our efforts to develop and offer digital applications and solutions to all types of businesses, especially small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), for their ESG data collection, management and evaluation. It is a great honour to receive recognition for our expertise and experience in collaboration with organisations such as the EBRD.”
